2009 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR SPEED TO DEBUT AT THE BRITISH MOTOR SHOW
Bentley will debut the 2009 Bentley Continental Flying Spur and Flying Spur Speed at the upcoming British Motor Show in July. The car was officially announced in June this year. The ‘Speed’ improves upon the already very fast Continental Flying Spur by having an even more powerful engine. The twin turbo W12 engine in the ‘Speed’ ups the power from 552 bhp of the Flying Spur to a staggering 600 bhp! This much power can re-start the earth if it ever stops spinning…. seriously!

The ‘Speed’ does 0-60 mph sprint in a scant 4.5 seconds and we are talking about a car which weighs almost as much as some offroaders out there! There are subtle revision to the front and rear end too with a newer upright grille and a massive lower air intake while a new bumper at the rear aggravates the already aggressive looking automobile. The ‘Speed’ also gets dark tinted radiator and air intake grilles, wider rifled exhaust tail pipes and massive 20 inch multispoke alloy wheel over the regular Flying Spur. The car can now be ordered with Bentley’s Adaptive cruise control system.
