Hyundai is working hard on the next generation Sonata which will be an all new car featuring all new styling and interiors and will battle with formidable rivals like VW Passat, Honda Accord and the newly launched and very pretty Opel Insignia.

Sonata has always lived the shadow of the its competition. The present generation Sonata though very teutonic in its appearance, fails to excite buyers. The understaded styling and interiors havent gone well with the luxury car buyers and the all new Sonata intends to change all that and more.

These are the first quality spy shot of the interiors of the all new Sonata and gives a sneak peek of what to expect. The overall styling is now very clean and at the same time very trendy. The central console has similar design and layout as the most expensive award winning Hyundai offering, the Genesis sedan.

A digital clock sits on the top of the central console while the void at the botton will house the audio system and the automatic climate control system. The dashboard will also feature twin pods for speedometer and the tachometer.

With refreshed exteriors styling, worked on dynamics and fresher modern interiors the all new Sonata which is expected to hit the korean market this autumn will be a serious competitor and the one to watch out for.
