Audi is getting increasingly competitive in the Indian market. After the recent launch of the all new A6 at a very competitive 38 lakhs onwards to take the compeition from Mercedes and BMW head on, the company is now getting ready to launch the Q5 in the Indian market.

The new Audi Q5 will take the BMW X3 head on and will also undercut its rival by a few lakh rupees to make the overall deal even sweeter. The Q5 is the baby SUV in the Audi lineup and has basically the same profile as the big brother Q7. Going by how successful the Q7 has been in the Indian market, the Q5 is expected to sell even better and might even draw buyers away from luxury saloons like the Mercedes Benz E Class and the BMW 5 Series.

The new Q5 will be launched on June 4th in the Indian market and is expected to be priced at Rs 37.5 Lakhs for the entry level model going up to Rs 45 Lakhs for the top end with all the optional extras.
