AUTO EXPO 2008 - SKODA FABIA LAUNCH PICS / PRICES!
Skoda today launched its much awaited hatchback, The Fabia in the Indian market. CC team was present at the launch function.
The Fabia comes in three version starting with 5.99 Lakhs for the base diesel, 6.35 Lakhs for the middle level varient and 7.68 Lakh for the top end model featuring everything from Integrated stereo with Aux input, alloy wheels, parking sensors, ABS, Dual Airbags, Sunroof et. all, all price Ex-Showroom Mumbai.
The base diesel won’t be available due to capacity constraints for the time being. We will review the car shortly.
The car would be marketed aggressively with a brand new marketing campaign and a nice new advertisement. Skoda hopes this new model will be the volume spinner for the company.

The prices listed has a huge difference between the medium model and higher end model. There is only 36K difference of price between the base and medium version.
Are these prices correct? Or is there a version missing in between ?
By the way it is an awesome site. I don’t think anyone else in India matches up to the quality and quantity this site offers.

Yes the difference is huge akin to Maruti Swift VXi and the ZXi, the top end Fabia offers everything and more.

I so much wished the launched the old boxy Fabia. the one that was part of Skoda WRC team.
Many people will object to this but i feel that new fabia is very korean regarding the frontal view
