Finally a concrete evidence that a new Bentley is coming and that you should be ready and waiting for it.

Bentley has released a teaser image of the new range-topping model which would be a replacement of the Arnage. Called the ‘New Grand Bentley’ by its maker, there isnt much to see in the teaser except the fact that this new Bentley model will adopt a clamshell bonnet just like the Continental range.

The car would be updated similarly keeping the ethos and tradition and the imposing stance of Bentley alive. Under the skin the new model is expected to use the aluminium space frame from Audi to keep weight in check which would help improve rigidity, cut down emissions while at the same time increasing performance.

The interiors are expected to be no less than ‘grand’ with some of the finest leather and wood adoring the trims inside.

The propulsion source is still not clear but an updated version of the 6.75 Litre V8 engine could be it. There are also talks of the Bugatti’s 8.0 Litre 987 bhp engine going under the hood and the V12 diesel from the VW group.

The new Bentley is rumoured to debut at the upcoming  Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegence in August. Just hold your breath for a couple of months more!
