Hoping to strengthen the already well respected and sporty 5 series, BMW plans to introduce three special edition lineups of the sedan and the wagon at the Geneva Motor Show. Dubbed the Lifestyle, Exclusive and Sports, the car is designed to appeal to a much larger portion of the widely varied customer base. Each version is distuiguished by unique paint color and the interior trims.

 The exclusive edition features a Platinum Bronze Metallic paint, additional chrome on the body, wood trimmed interiors and 17 inch alloy wheels establishing the Exclusive edition as the luxury car of the 5 series family.

The lifestyle edition is set apart with satin finish chrome and lighter interior featuring leather and reflex cloth interiors. The exterior color is Neptune Blue and teh car is designed to appeal to the more active among the 5 series customers.

For the more sportily inclined, the sport edition gets BMW’s signature racing colors: Imola Red or the Le-Mans blue with 18 inch ‘M’ alloys, a complete body kit and a ‘M’ sport suspension.

The car fantastic driving dynamics havent been touched which is a good thing and there are no powertrain changes planned for any of the special editions. 5 Series customer suddenly have a lot more to choose from, coming straight from the factory.
