Toyota India will launch the facelifted version of its popular MPV, Innova in the last week of this month. The exterior changes include a new front grille, clear lens headlamps, new fog lamps and a new front bumper. The rear remains almost unchanged.

The insides will be revised too with climate control air conditioning for the higher spec variants, steering mounted audio controls and an in dash CD changer. The mechanicals and the engine also remain unchanged.

Innova was launched in the Indian market in 2005 and has been a favourite with taxi operators and large families owing to its combination of reliability, quality and refined car like drive. The facelift version would come with a slight premium on the price front.
