With the last few days of the year 2008 remaining, the news is coming in that Ferrari F1 team would be the first one to unveil their car of the F1 season 2009.

According to reports in the Italian press, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the maranello based team will reveal their challenger for the 2009 season in the middle of January in Fiorano.

The date will most likely be 15th January, the same day when Toyota is scheduled to unveil the images of their 2009 car named TF109.

McLaren will launch their car, the following day at their headquarters in Woking while January 19th will see the 2009 Williams and Renault cars test-debut their cars in Portugal.

The F1.09 from BMW Saubers will roll for the first time at Valencia’s Ricardo Tormo Circuit on January 20th while Red Bull have no plans to begin testing before February and Force India is waiting until March before they reveal their car running on the new engine supplied by McLaren.

The Indian team earlier made the move from Ferrari to McLaren for their engine requirements.
