Ford India has introduced a new lineup of its midsize sedan Fiesta at a starting price of 593,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The base varient now comes with a premium of over 5,500 over the earlier base varient of the car. The 1.4 ZXi is no longer available and has been replaced by the more powerful 1.6 ZXi variant. The full line up looks like this now:
Rs 593,000 for the 1.4 EXi
Rs 620,000 for the 1.6 ZXi
Rs 690,000 for the 1.6 SXi

The diesel line up also been upgraded with the car now coming in three variants in total starting at:
Rs 703,000 for 1.4 EXi
Rs 749,000 for 1.4 ZXi
Rs 809,000 for 1.4 SXi

In a move that could make other stand up and take notice all the Fiesta variants now come with driver-side air bags and turn indicators on the rear view mirrors as standard fitments.

The top-end variants would also sport ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), 6CD changer with 6 speakers, leather upholstery, key-less entry, electric boot release and driver side height adjustment.
