FORD NAMES LEWIS BOOTH AS THE NEW CFO AS DON LECLAIR RETIRES NEXT MONTH
Ford Motor Co. has named Lewis Booth as the new vice president and CFO, after the current CFO Don Leclair retires November 1. Lewis Booth has been the chairman of Ford Europe since 2005.
In a statement issued by the company, it said Leclair and Booth will work together over the next few weeks to make sure there’s a smooth transition. Don Leclair who is 56 now joined Ford in 1976 and was named the executive vice president and CFO in August 2003.
Booth becomes the CFO of the company amid one of the worst financial crisis in the recent history.
Booth is widely regarded as the man who supervised the transformation of Ford in Europe and Mazda during the past 10 years.
