Ford is offering an all new package with its sports utility vehicle, Endeavour called the Navi Gear. The package includes a high tech navigation system, an in car chiller cum warmer and a 5th door convex mirror. Ford Endeavour is one of the largest selling SUV’s in its class and comes with a powerful diesel engine.

According to the company, the Navi gear package will heighten the on- and off- road driving experience in the Indian SUV segment by maximizing comfort, safety and convenience. Ford India created a new performance benchmark with the Endeavour and this initiative will raise that bar a notch higher.

In-car GPS navigation

The Endeavour’s MapMyIndia route navigation system works via a satellite system. It determines the occupant’s exact current location and the direction they are moving towards. This navigator provides real-time, voice-guided, turn-by-turn navigation travel across India, be it intra-city or inter-city; providing the much-needed assurance of the whereabouts and directions covering 173 cities in India.

The GPS system is of great assistance in remote locations where the roads don’t necessarily have signs. All the driver has to do is enter in the destination and the GPS system then guides him/her with visual map instructions supported by voice prompts.

The in-car cooler cum warmer is another special feature of the Navi Gear. It will enable travelers to keep their food and beverages at the desired temperature and freshness. All that the car owner has to do is to plug it into the Endeavour’s power socket. This special feature will provide maximum travel convenience to the occupants of the Endeavour.

Rear watcher

The rear watcher enables the driver with a clear and magnified image of all objects and surroundings. This mirror has the potential to augment vehicle safety by covering all critical blind spots at the rear of the vehicle. Ford has always laid strong emphasis on the safety features in all its products and the Rear watcher demonstrates that fact.

The Navi Gear package is a ‘plug and go’ installation and is being offered at a special price of Rs 27,500 on all Endeavour variants across India.

Ford is also offering Tanishq Diamonds worth Rs 20,000 with every purchase of the recently launched facelifted Fiesta. The company has also started special offers including cash incentives for corporate and public sector buyers.
