I hope that this not just an exercise in design. I can engines from Jaguar being slotted into this car. It could be TATA’s calling card to the world.

LOOKS LIKE TATA IS HAVING A BALL……….THE TATA PRIMA LOOKS STUNNING AND GORGEOUS.. THE CAR HAS THAT CLASSY LOOK AND THE BEST PART IS THE COUPE LIKE FLOWING ROOFLINE WHICH GIVES IT A DISTINCT IDENTITY..EVEN THE TATA NANO EUROPA LOOKS GOOD COMPARED TO THE INDIAN NANO.. LETS SEE HOW TATA PRICES THE NEW PRIMA AND WHAT ENGINES BEING OFFERED?? I THINK THAT THE EXTERIOR STYLING IS VERY NEAT( WITH NO PANEL GAPS) AND IT LOOKS ITS GOT A TOUGH BODY.. I HOPE TATA MOTORS MAKE GOOD, WELL BUILT INTERIORS BECOZ THE WHOLE WORLD IS LOOKING STRAIGHT AT THEIR EACH AND EVERY MOVE. STARTING WITH THE DEBUT OF THE NANO IN INDIA AND LATER IN EUROPE AND ALSO BECOZ IT OWNS THE BRITISH LUXURY MARQUE JAGUAR-LANDROVER.. I HOPE JAGUAR-LANDROVER DESIGNERS AND ENGINEERS HELP TATA MOTORS TO MAKE GOOD QUALITY, WELL BUILT CARS FOR THE INDIAN MARKET..

Outstanding… near classic design and I hope it has a matching engine as well. One request to Tata Prima design team will be to put the rear number plate on the bumper and not on the ‘dickey’ face.

great car with decent looks. i kind of do not like the front grill section. overall the car looks like a peguot from front.

This car has got some lines from the Jaguar brand. Look at the headlights… Finally TATA’s are using their buy of Jaguar for making something stunning…

We got to understand that tata engineering capability is not like Toyota or Honda they don’t have the depth nor the reliability of the Japanese let’s forget about competing with the German car manufactures it will take them light years to get anywhere close to that look at the Sumo ,Safari , and Indica V2 they have all gone under transformation because of faulty engineering design which have led to so many upgrades taking places throughout their product portfolio it has happened time and again it could also happen with this one and later be rebadged as Prima V3 !!! , Has anyone seen Toyota corolla or Honda civic having any issues and later being re-launched as something else , the only Indian manufacture which has kept its name and head held high is Bajaj Auto look at their products they compete in the middle eastern markets with the Big four Japanese in terms of technology and quality and mind you price as well , Quality is something that Tata motors has to learn even with trucking being their core business they don’t have products which give a match for Volvo ,Scania , in terms of international quality and product portfolio , Till then Jai Hind to Bajaj Auto Hamara Baja

I do not agree with Sandeep Mazumdar. Honda just recalled some 1000’s vehicles due to some wheel / braking issues.
I think one should be proud that an Indian Co. is making a big foray and trying to break European / Jap monopoly..
As for “Lightyears” to reach that stage, who knows after Ice age and all other ages..perhaps this time around we will find some fuel in India which will be next Middle East..:-)
