GM LAUNCHES FACELIFTED CHEVROLET TAVERA NEO-2

GM India has launched the facelifted version of its utility vehicle Tavera called the Tavera Neo-2. The vehicle is priced at 9.54 Lakhs Ex-Showroom Delhi.
“As a result of the feedbacks received, the Chevrolet Tavera once again raises the bar in terms of features and personal amenities for its segment” said GM India President and Managing Director Karl Slym
The company expects to sell around 2000 units of Tavera after the launch of the new Neo-2. The company had also announced plans of setting up a powertrain facility with an investment of $200 million at Talegaon, Maharashtra, last week.

The new Tavera Neo-2 comes with new features like
– a three spoke steering wheel.
– redesigned front end with new bigger Chevrolet bowtie logo and larger grille.
– Ergonomically Redesigned Central Console
– Captain Seats for the middle row passengers
– Leather Seats
– All new dashboard with twin gloveboxes
– Faux wood central console
– Dual-Din Stereo
– Handbrake relocated to a more convenient position, next to the gear lever
– New Rotary Dials for Air Con Controls.

This model is doing well because of its utility. but sadly it is popular with the taxi owners. Some change for the them. perhaps will be refreshing.
Whats with the name facelift, its still the same, come on GM give it a CRDi engine.
I have looked hard at the pictures to see if there is any kind of difference visually between the Neo 2 and Neo. I cant find any. So much for a facelift then.
