GM LAUNCHES REFRESHED CHEVROLET AVEO U-VA

Chevrolet UVA

GM India has launched a new variant of the Chevrolet Aveo U-AV as a part of its centenary year celebrations. The car unveiled by Chevvy’s brand ambassador Saif Ali Khan.

“The new Chevrolet U-VA brings superlative value and additional safety, security and luxury to our customers,” said GM India vice president P Balendran at the launch.

“We will continue to roll out new products and also revitalise our existing line-up to create new excitement in the market,” he added.

The exterior and interiors styling remains exactly the same but GM have added a few new feature to make the overall deal sweeter. The new Aveo U-VA comes with additional features such as wider windcsreen (whatever that means!), driver side air bag, anti lock braking, keyless entry with burglar alarm, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, split folding rear seats and deco moulding on the instrument panel and door trims.

GM will also launch a new nationwide advertising campaign for the car titled “Bada Dil Baadi Car”.

The car comes in a total of 9 colors and is priced between 3.98 Lakhs to 5.10 Lakhs for the top-end variant.

The new UV-A comes with good additional features. This will give a fair competition to the Swift. Everyday there are new launches in the country. And already the car is doing wonders in the market and with such good features it is going to make the buyers crazy for it.

GM can sell numbers only if they introduce the new aevo in india with a diesel engine. I once went to sundaram motoros before buying palio i was just roaming around the car for 15mins and nobody came and asked mem wat i wanted. i finally went and asked a sales rep about the price and finance schemes available. They said they are going to call me back for a testdrive but never called me.
if this is the way gm is marketing their cars, GM never expect good numbers in sales
