Honda: 1000 Jazz Booked In First Week!

Honda has managed 1000 bookings for the recently launched Jazz hatchback in the first week of its launch.
Honda Jazz is the most expensive hatchback in the country with a starting price of Rs 6.98 Lakhs for the base variant, going up to Rs. 7.33 Lakhs for the top end sports variant. Jazz will be manufactured at Honda’s Greater Noida plant and sports a localization level of 77% from day one and comes with a 1.2 Litre i-VTEC engine generating 90 bhp. The Jazz has also been certified to give 16.1 KMPL tested by ARAI.
Honda India has a distribution network of 105 dealerships across India which is likely to go upto 112 dealerships by the end of this year to meet the increased volumes.
Jazz is sold in over 130 countries with cumulative sales of more than 2.8 Million units and has won over 40 international records. The second generation Jazz (known as Fit in Japan) was awarded the Japanese car of the year 2007-2008, the only car in the history to have won the award for two successive generations. The car is the best selling model in Japan for the year 2008.
The test drives for the Jazz are open throughout the country.

It might be expensive, but I’ve seen the interior for the Honda Jazz car, and I tell you what I was very impressed! The exterior looks pretty decent too, but I am more impressed with is the interior of the car

I am not at all surprised. I don’t think any Honda product will fail in the Indian market. Such is the respect that the brand commands here.
