HONDA CBF STUNNER LAUNCHED!

 Honda CBF Stunner

Inspired by its CBF series of bikes, Honda today has launched the CBF Stunner, a 125CC bike in the Indian Market. The bike was first shown to the public at the Auto Expo 2008 in Delhi to gauge consumer response, after which the company decided to put it in production.

Honda CBF Stunner

The bike powered by a 125CC, Air Cooled four stroke engine developing 11 bhp and comes with a half-fairing aka the Hero Honda Karizma. The bike also has stepped seat and raised suspension at the back. Alloy wheels are also standard througout the range. Regrettably the tachometer is missing and its a shame for a bike that has sporting pretensions.

The bike comes in three variants, kick start with drum brake and alloy wheels, self start with drum brake and alloy wheels and self start with disc brake and alloy wheels. The prices of each version is as follows:

Kick start drum brake: Price -  Rs 47070

Self start drum brake: Price - Rs 49820

Self start disc brake: Price - Rs 51655

:mrgreen: I have a Unicorn but i think this is a cool stuff on Road By HONDA
As its named stunner i think this would be good on Road as Unicorn is Best in the Segment of150cc bikes
i want to try this byk as i think it will give 60 plus average.

» hakim said: { Jun 30, 2008 - 04:06:44 }

does it have a naked chain?

» zain said: { Jun 30, 2008 - 06:06:14 }

HOnda has got one thing right..ie the pricing—We have a lot of people who would like to have a cool looking bike–at the normal price…and the stunner is just that!!!! I mean just lok at the styling–HOnda is trying to bask in the big bike design craze started by the R15..

Lets see if it sells..— I think it will…

» raul said: { Jul 1, 2008 - 01:07:21 }

It will surely sell being a Honda but get some 250cc bikes will you Honda?

» srinidhi said: { Jul 1, 2008 - 11:07:29 }

I knew it would be a 11bhp bike.Looks good,that’s it.phew……..I prefer Gladi’s styling over this.

atleast Honda of all companies shouldn’t be making ‘posers’
this sort of exaggerated performance should be complimented by performance and features also..
No tacho :(

Guys, with the 11bhp engine, cant expect mileage > 60kmpl in high traffic roads(cities). They workout well only on highways. Guess performance will be equivalent to Gladiator(Same specifications).

But onething guys,
U cant expect comfortable ride at high speed for any low cc bikes.
I mean, 125cc,11bhp bike may give max speed as 150cc bike. But with a lot of vibrations with high wear-&-tear. Also ur bike feels exhausted after u make it perform at its peak. **** Fuel consumption is more for 125cc bike than 150cc bike at high speeds.
Ex: When u ride Glady at max 50kmph (highways), gives mileage of 60+kmpl.
But same with 100kmph gives mileage of 45+kmpl.
Unicorn at 50kmph gives 55kmpl while at 100kmph gives 45kmpl.

So guys who needs comfort have to take 150cc and enjoy the ride while who needs style take CBFSTUNNER :mrgreen:

:sad: ihave brough stunner. now god only saves me :sad: :cry:

hey guys i m looking for a 125 cc bike…. having good mileage and styling… i have got down to either tvs flame or stunner…. wat do you recomend for a college guy..??
Surya, is stunner consistently giving mileage of 58 in city..?? if possible plz post pics of your bike…..

» Sneeky said: { Jul 20, 2008 - 02:07:12 }

Mayuresh, I greatly recommend u to go for Cbf stunner(Black)(If u like black, i recommend u to go and see in the showroom,cos black stunner is found nowhere in any sites)…
That looks awesome among other bikes and the stickering is done at perfect level so that it doesnot overdose the styling,…..

Flame is less in power and delivers good mileage (~5-6kmpl more than stunner)..
But style in Flame is nowhere comparable to stunner black……

» Sneeky said: { Jul 21, 2008 - 09:07:53 }

I mean CBFSTUNNER is more stylish than flame…..
U visit the honda showroom, compare all the colours of stunner and decide…
In my point of view CBFstunner is great compared to flame in styling and power…..
Perfect for a guy who prefers style…….

black stunner looks great…. Stupid honda, they revealed this bike after i bought my new Unicorn last month…. :cry: :mad:

» shabeer a from palakkad said: { Jul 21, 2008 - 12:07:52 }

:roll:

its only 125 cc…and 11 bhp………..sure not going to give any pleasure than unicorn………………..

we are all waiting for the launch of cbx twister 250 cc…

a 250 cc from honda that all v need

» PAUL said: { Jul 21, 2008 - 07:07:03 }

:idea: There should be a company fitted spoiler with the bike ……..then only it can look like a STUNNER!! GOT THAT!!! SO HONDA THINK THINK THINK
what new generation needs!

» Bala said: { Jul 23, 2008 - 04:07:09 }

Thanks to Honda for new CBF Stunner 125.Looks stylish n gud features at best cost.I love sports looking bikes n gud pickup.But R15,Karizma and some sports looking bikes are very costly n low mileage.But stunner is better than that bikes in cost n mileage with the same stunning looks.If any body knows the perfect details of HONDA CBF STUNNER plz send me mail with details to (rhythm.rhythamic@gmail.com).Details means bhp,wheel base,which colour is best,perfect mileage for 60kms/hr speed ,etc.

I M GOING TO BUY STUNNER,
I ASK U,
SOME GUYS R COMPLAINED THAT WHEN THE SPEED IS 50 OR ABOVE 50 TI GIVER VIBRATION…
IS THIS TRUE……..?

» DIPEN said: { Nov 7, 2008 - 03:11:10 }

PLZZZZZZZZ TELL ME……. :?:

» Muthukaruppan said: { Nov 8, 2008 - 07:11:52 }

yes shine as well as cbf r known for vibrations after 60kmph

if u want a very smooth engine , better go for unicorn
it runs like an electric motor and very realiable too
but cbz xtreme and hunk loses out on refinement though it uses the same engine from unicorn

my rating for unicorn is 5star

» Sneeky said: { Nov 10, 2008 - 11:11:49 }

Guys….After a hell of research, i bought unicorn before ~45days and its really really too good….
I am able to get 59kmpl in mixed road condition and engine is smooth compared to Pulsar and Xtreme (Of same age ~45days)(I havnt tried Hunk yet)…..
I am getting some vibrations after 60+kmph and i guess it will be done after my second service……

and all the best for guys who are going for CBF stunner…

Hey guys, i m 18… Nd in frst yr…. I had a budget of 55000… I was confused betwen honda stunner and honda aviator… Finaly i decided to go wid stunner which m gona get in nxt few days… Every thng is gud.. Xcpt it lacks tacho and d rear part of d seat is too high wich may make it a bit dificult for ur mum, sis, or ny fml frn to sit… Rest al is ok… Nd cuming to d point of vibration… WAT CAN U XPCT OF A 125CC BIKE… Its no way gona perfrm like plsr220… So as in my view its k, given its price…. Jst home that the average is gud… Lets see…

» swapnil said: { Dec 14, 2009 - 12:12:24 }

Hiii…Friends I have purchased the Honda Stunner PGM-FI (fuel injection) Silver Metalic version ….its a fantastic bike with a good pickup and looks great….its rocks the road….there is no choke in the bike and the petrol cock is also missing….it must be cos its the fuel injection version……its pickup is more compared to the base version of CBF stunner….as it has 12bhp power,I have touched my bike to 90 kmph after my first service but i didn’t feel any vibrations…and presently i am getting average of 65 kmpl if i am running my bike below 60 kmph…its a great bike…Honda Rocks the Road

» sai said: { Jan 9, 2010 - 04:01:16 }

hi guys,,,,,,,,,iam here to clarify ur doubts iam stunner specialist ,i owned my bike last year now iam getting an mileage of 55 on average and it looks are totally outstanding,the bikes best high speed performance is only of 100kmph but after 80 some vibrations may occur at that time you have slow down the bike for ur safe ……………..i think it is very common getting of vibrations after 85km speed ,except karizma zmr…….but overall performance of stunner is very good,because stunner is an night mare to other 125cc segments.@@@@@@@@smile
