HYUNDAI ACCENT CNG LAUNCHED!

 Hyundai Accent

India’s second largest car maker Hyundai Motor Co. today launched the CNG version of its popular mid-size sedan, Accent. The CNG version will be costlier by Rs 56,500 compared to the normal version. The petrol variant of the Accent is available for Rs. 4.99 Lakhs Ex-Showroom, Delhi.

The Accent will be available in dual fuel mode - Petrol and CNG, the company said in a statement. The driver can also switch from CNG to Petrol at the flick of the switch. For CNG kits Hyundai has tied up with a korean company CEV, who will supply all components of the fitment.

“The kit is not only safe but an advanced lambada control system ensures that there is minimal loss of performance while also meeting the Euro III emission norms.”, the company said. Last year Hyundai had launched the CNG version of its popular small car, Santro. The CNG Accent will be available in Delhi and NCR in collaboration with CEV India.

“The Accent has been one of our best selling models ever since its launch. Offering it with a CNG kit will only add to its appeal as it will not only be cheaper to run but also eco- friendly,” Mr H S Lheem, Managing Director, HMIL said.
