Hyundai is taking pre-orders for its all new Sonata (or i40 as it would be called in some markets) in its home korean markets. We first showed you the leaked images of the car and talked about Hyundai’s new fluidic design language here.
A few more leaked images of the all new Sonata / i40 have surfaced which show the design sketches, some more interior details and exteriors in white color. As we mentioned earlier, this is the most appealing Hyundai sedan we have even seen, the new Genesis included. The wide radiator grille and sharp edged headlamps convey an image of strength while the side profile with its coupe lilke profile has a hint of Mercedes CLS in it somewhere.
Hyundai hopes that its new “fluidic sculpture” design language will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall brand and the latest technologies will help Sonata continue its long strong of success over the years.
The technical specifications are still scarce but Hyundai has confirmed that new Sonata/ i40 will come with a six-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles coupled with a 2.0 Litre Theta II engine which will help it deliver class leading fuel economy. Safety has been upgraded with the use of Vehicle Dynamic Control which will be supplied as a standard feature and work by detecting and minimizing skids.
Overall comfort has been enhanced by using a variety of new technologies and premium specifications like panoramic sunroof, gear shift paddles attached to the steering wheel and push-button starting system.

wow! I just bought a ‘09 gls which doesnt come with navigation, BUT the good thing for you is that you still have 9 yrs 9 months and 99,800 miles till they fix the problems with your ride free of charge
With such radical looks and improved quality no doubt Hyundai’s sales will greatly improve and this will be the upcoming car company for the next decade, maybe even surpassing Toyota and Honda.
