HYUNDAI TO RAISE i10 PRICES FROM JAN 12 2008

Hyundai Motor India, the second largest carmaker in the country after Maruti Suzuki, plans to raise prices of its recently launched hatchback i10 by up to Rs 5,000 from January 12.

The company has received 15,000 bookings for the hatchback in a little over two months after its launch.

The company said price hike would be across all variants and would go up to Rs 5,000. The hike would be effective from January 12.
