Maruti Suzuki has raised the prices of most of its models by Rs. 1000 to Rs. 11000 (Ex-Showroom) The hike is effective across all cities.

Maruti 800 is now costlier by Rs. 1000, interesting move given the launch of the one lakh Nano. For buying an Alto you will have to pay Rs. 2500 more while WagonR and Zen Estilo are costlier by Rs. 3500 and Rs. 2500 respectively.

The worst hit is the SX4 with prices increasing by a whopping Rs. 11000

Earlier in January, Maruti had increased the prices of its hot seller Swift by Rs. 6000 to Rs. 12000 (VXi by Rs 6,000, ZXi by Rs 12,000, LDi by Rs 6,000 and VDi by Rs 9,500)
