Maruti Suzuki, India largest car makers is the fourth most reputed automobile company in the world even ahead of its parent Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan.

These findings come from the ”Global 200: The World’s Best Corporate Reputations” list, compiled by US-based Reputation institute. Maruti Suzuki India is fourth amongst the automakers, the list of which is headed by another japanese giant, Toyota, which topped the overall most reputed company list also.

MSI with a ‘global pulse’ score of 74.38 leaves behind the parent Suzuki Motor Corporation with a score of 70.44 which came in 8th position amongst the automobile manufacturers. In the overall best corporate reputed rankings, MSI occupied 77th position again outclassing its parent company SMC which is ranked 139.

What truly remarkable is that MSI has left behind some of the most renowned global auto brands which includes BMW and Mercedes, ranked fifth with a score of 73.90 and sixth with a score of 72.85 respectively. French giant Puegeot emerged 7th best with a score of 72.32, while another french company Renault was ranked 9th  with a score of 70.26. The company with is often known as people cars maker, Volkswagen of Germany was 10th in the list with 69.64 points.
