Maruti Suzuki Launches Upgraded SX4, Optional Automatic Transmission
India’s largest passenger car maker Maruti Suzuki has launched the facelifted version of the SX4 sedan which now also comes with an optional automatic transmission apart from minor changes to interiors and exteriors.

* Uprated 1.6 Litre engine with VVT head which now develops 106 bhp. The new engine also meets the Bharat IV norms
* Brown + Beige Interiors
* USB Input for the ICE (In Car Entertainment)
* Wooden finish door mounted power window console
* Flush fitting central rear seat arm rest
* New Honeycomb Grille
* New 10 spoke alloy wheels
* Automatic Transmission Option
With the upgrade Maruti has also launched two new colors - Blue and Brick Red.

The website is saying that New SX 4 is launched ! But Maruti Udyog is secretive about it Are they interested in selling ??? Or they are scared????? With One click on the net Honda bring their Automatic City for Test Drive perhaps there is some problem which needs to addressed As a current SX 4 user we are willing to wait if Maruti gives news in afffirmative

suzuki sx4 with new changes look very good.
This looks good news but howcome there is no mention of this on maruti`s website and anyother place.It would be interesting to know the price of the car also.

Can this counter the Manza move by TATA? Manza is hotting up and by the time the sales go into top gear, SX4 and Linea will have to bring in some added attractions.. can this be one of those ?
wel,i wonder if manza and sx4 r in te same segment..manza is meant to take on te dzire,which is an entire segment below sx4.in anycase,manza cannot b compared to sx4 from a technical point of view..sx4 is marketed wit a sporty twist and manza is supposed to b a comfy allrounder,and with te new upgrade,sx4 is 16hp more powerful than manza.abt te new attractions bit,as unveiled by cc,linea mite hav a new high tech engine by middle of next yr,and mayb even te 1.6jtd.just a minor tuning job and an automatic mite not help maruti counter te delicious new engines from fiat..
