Maruti Suzuki SX4 Facelift Coming Soon!
India’s largest automobile manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has temporarily halted the production of its mid size saloon SX4.
According to sources, the production halt is in place to upgrade the engine to the newer and tougher Bharat IV emission norms which will come into effect from April, 2010. A little birdie has told us that the engine will now come with a VVTi head, Suzuki’s version of Honda’s i-Vtec and Toyota’s VVT, meaning slightly more power and efficiency.
Maruti is also expected to refresh the exteriors slightly to augment the engine upgrade. The facelift would feature honeycomb grille at the front.
