Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo To Get 1.0 Litre K Series Engine From A-Star

We told you about the impending launch of the refreshed Zen Estilo earlier. A little birdie now tells us that the facelift will come with brand new engine in the form of the 1 Litre K-Series from the A-Star.

The company is revising the engine line up in all its cars in wake of the Bharat IV emission norms which will come into effect from April next year.

The 1.0 Litre K Series engine makes around 67 bhp and comes with innovative technologies to reduce consumption and increase performance.

No matter they put a turbocharged V12 engine in it, the car is old, interiors are bad and it looks weird. Can’t be changed so easy. Right :)

I liked the car very much but didn’t buy because of the ’spoon in a pot of halwa’ gear-box.
If they change the engine, I hope it also means a better gear box.
