MARUTI’S “A STAR” LAUNCH IN OCTOBER 2008
After the launch of the new Swift DZiRE sedan, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) will be launching the ‘A Star’,a premium hatchback, in October 2008. As stated by a company official, MSIL will be launching the ‘A Star’ from its Manesar plant at Haryana.
‘A Star’ is company’s newest addition in the A2 segment joining other models like WagonR and Zen Estilo.A-star would feature a 1.0-litre petrol engine.The five-door ‘A Star Concept’ was displayed by Maruti Suzuki at the recently held Delhi Auto Expo & it attracted attention for its unusual front and rear looks. ‘A Star’ will be exported to the European markets in addition to domestic sales, in a bid to expand its portfolio in the A2 segment.
In the last 11 months Maruti has sold 41,800 units in the domestic market.

The transition from concept to production seems to be happening really fast. If this is true than kudos to Maruti. With somany new products in the small hatch section from Maruti, I guess it is just a matter of time before it is curtains for the Zen Estilo. It also seems the obviously tall boys are going out of style and being replaced by the subtler ones.

with the launch of a star i think maruti will achieve another breakthrough as achieved with after the launch of swift.
The car has a very cool outer look it will surely rock the Indian market

sir I cant understand that,it is the of inflshan every country facing the problum,and maruti has lunched a new car.I want to know what is the reason behind it.The purchanging power of people has go down due to financial craces and this time maruti has lunch the new car.
