Mercedes-Benz E-Class ‘Estate’ Wagon Caught Almost Undisguised!

2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate Wagon Spied
Following up on the image leaks of the next generation E-Class last week, the ‘Estate’ Wagon variant has been caught in the wild amost undisguised. These images were taken near Mercedes’s headquarters in Germany and reveal the final shape of the car except the finer details which are still camouflaged.
The next generation E-Class is expected to make its debut at the upcoming Geneva motor show and will go on sale later in the same year as a 2010 model. The Wagon variant may make its appearance at the Frankfurt motor show.
The new Estate version has grown in length over the previous model and has a longish rear overhang indicating generous room behind the rear seats. Dual exhaust and nicely integrated roof rails are also clearly visible.
The interiors will be the same as the sedan which is a mix of elements from C-Class and S-Class including a centrally mounted screen as well as a speedo mounted unit.
The Estate version will share the powerplants with the Sedan which means the base version will come with the 184 bhp force inducted four cylinder engine ending with a range topping 550 bhp E63 AMG V8. New engines in the line up include a direct injetion V6 petrol, a 354 bhp diesel V8 and even a hybrid version based on the same architecture as the S-Class BlueHybrid.
