SCHUMACHER CRASHES A TEST FERRARI F430 SCUDERIA AT THE ‘RING’?

Ferrari F430 Scuderia

Seven times F1 world champion and a regular in the Ferrari development and prototype testing, Michael Schumacher has crashed a Ferrari F430 Scuderia while testing at Nurburgring, a report published in the German newspaper Bild has said.

According to reports Ferrari had the test track for a day to themselves for private testing  when the former champion took out a test mule and crashed it. The crash happened after Schumacher went off track at over 250 kmph on what was a damp track at that moment, at the high-speed Schwedenkruz corner and hit a guard rail, totalling the car in process. No one was injured in the crash and the crew switched to the back-up car immediately afterwards.

Ferrari has disputed the claim that Schumacher was actually driving. Ferrari spokesman Luca Colajanni claimed that Schumacher was the passenger while the car was being driven by the test driver Raffaele DeSimone. Rumours also suggested that Schumacher’s son Mick was on-board while Schumacher was driving which has been dispelled by his press laison, Sabine Kehm.

The details about the prototype arent clear yet, it could be a successor the the F430 or even the successor to the uber Enzo that has been discontinued now.

Story sounds a bit fishy, and I highly doubt that he would have had his child in the car going for a test drive at that speed.
