SCOOP: FIAT LINEA CAUGHT TESTING!
Svsantosh @ team-bhp caught this Linea which looks like a test mule, going all around India before it is launched later this year. The engine specifications are not clear at this point of time but speculations also say that Fiat might just spring up a surprise and launch the Linea with the 1.9 Litre JTD instead of the 1.3 JTD with VGT since it would be a bit underpowered for such a big car. All the other details are awaited and we will update them as soon as we get any concrete information.

Cool..but when is this one out on sale?..I’m tired listening to stories of its launch date…will give the Hondas and Skodas a horrid time…

I think it is more than a year since the Grande Punto and Linea have been launched internationally. Fiat is not bringing these to India in the near future. Bye the time they are launched here elsewhere in the world these models will get upgrades. If Fiat doesnt do things on time these too would go the Palio way. The latest facelift that we see on the Palio was done in Brazil aeons ago.
AV Satish, 2005 was the year when the GP was launched, so the next GP should already be under testing.
1.9L is highly unlikely, due to cost factors, i have confirmed news but i hope i am wrong and Fiat get the 1.9L Multijet.

wonder y fiat discloses the plans to launch its cars decades before it actually does it…..if we go by fiat’s trends it still might take another year or two before it begins with d sales….
any changes in interiors ??????????????
