Audi’s flagship TT RS specifications are out. Worldcarfans have obtained the letter enroute to Audi’s german car dealers which gives out all the details on the forthcoming TT RS.

The new Audi TT RS will be powered by a direct injection 2.5 Litre 5-Cylinder Supercharged-Turbocharged engine developing an eye opening 340 bhp and 450 nm of torque! The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission linked to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system with a 40:60 bias in favour of the rear wheels.

The result of all this is a 0-100 kph sprint time of just 4.5 seconds with a limited top speed of 155 mph. The hottest TT  ever is economical too with a combined cycle fuel efficiency figure of 28 mpg. In addition to power upgrades the TT RS also gets 18 inch wheels, dual oval exhaust, interior swathed in alcantara and leather with aluminium detailing on the door trims and the AC vents and discreet skirting in true racing style. The interiors will also carry ‘RS’ insignia on the instrument panel and the onboard computer menu.

The car will be offered in both Coupe and Roadster version and will go on sale in the next summer across Europe.
