Spied: New Chevrolet Beat (Spark) Undisguised Inside Out!
We have the spy pics of GM’s next big small car for the Indian market which may be called the Beat or probably retain Spark nomenclature right from Korea where it would be badged a Daewoo. These pics have been sent to us by our regular reader Satya… thanks!
When launched this would be one of the most stylish small car on Indian roads and we are not talking about the exteriors only. The interiors are no less futuristic and can rival the fanciest and blingiest vodka bars with crazy geometrical shapes and translucent plastics all around.
The car is due to be launched later this year after the Cruze which would compete with the likes of Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla Altis.

Yes it does resemble the Ritz, especially from the back.
Yeah , Hyundai , Maruti (Suzuki) and GM are fighting neck to neck to sell small cars. You can see the styling similarities, they’re all trying to join the bandwagon! The rear windows make one feel claustrophobic - see Swift , Ritz, A-star , i20 ..Thankfully the dragon -looking i10 was spared of this!

U r all wrong. Actually the first developement (ie. the concept model) of the BEAT car was before three years. But these maruti gyus have developed these desings very recently by getting more vehicles view and designed Ritz. Also Company like GM, Toyota, Honda they trial the vehicle for nearly 80k kms before the launch. They test in various places, various terrain conditions, various climate conditions, etc….. But Maruti, Tata, they just launch the vehicle and after the customers feedback they rectify. Finally the customers are the sufferer. Think before you ink.
