SPY SHOTS: MERCEDES-BENZ S-CLASS FACELIFT
Yes, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class will get a facelift soon. The uber saloon from Merc isnt very old in the market but the recent launches in the form of the all new BMW 7 Series and impending competition from Audi’s A8, the german giant cannot take it easy.
These shots are the best yet with the car almost completely undisguised. Immediately noticable are the new front skirts, front fog lamps, revised bumper, a slighly slanted frint grille and new outside rear view mirrors. The front headlights have been changed slightly to accomodate a string of LED lights along the edges called the daytime running lights, made popular by Audi. The rear bumper has also been redesigned and so are the tail lights which will now come without the coloured metal stripes.
The new S-Class should be available in the Indian market as soon as it is launched internationally.

Mercedes feeling the heat of the new BMW 7 Series?
I would have to agree with the above comment…….but then again these two have always been in competition with each other!!!!
I hope the front grille will be in black. But then we know it wont be in black. Pity. But the car now seems to look butch and that is a good thing. The front seems more retro then ever before.
