STUNNING SUZUKI KIZASHI 3 CONCEPT 2008 UNVEILED AT NEW YORK AUTO SHOW
It all started when Suzuki first showed the Kizashi Concept at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, followed by the Kizashi 2 Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show 2007 and most recently at the Indian Auto Expo which concluded in January 2008. The series has now reached the next phase with the Kizashi 3 Concept unveiled at the New York Motor Show. The Concept is well on its way to production in the form of a sports saloon car.
By 2010 Suzuki hopes to start selling their sport sedan in North America, even though Suzuki calls it a global car it is very much aimed at building their image in North America. Kizashi means prelude in Japanese, so it is safe to say that the sport sedan will go by a yet unknown name. The new Suzuki flagship will be built in Suzuki’s brand new Sagara plant in Japan.
Suzuki is planning to power its new flagship sport sedan with a 3.6 liter DOHC V6 engine with plated cylinders delivering up to 300 hp. The plated cylinders save both weight and space, and has directly evolved from Suzuki’s motorcycle business and WRC development teams.
