Suzuki Launches Hayabusa And Intruder In India

Japanese 2-wheeler giant, Suzuki has launched Hayabusa and Intruder M1800R in the Indian market. The Hayabusa is the veritable bed room poster bike for the Indian youth while Intruder M1800R is a big american muscle cruiser. The bikes have been priced identically at Rs. 12.5 Lakhs Ex-Showroom Delhi. The moves comes after Yamaha and Ducati have already launched their hyperbikes in the Indian market.

Speaking at the launch, Atul Gupta Vice-President (Sales & Marketing) Suzuki Motorcycle India said “This launch is very significant when we are globally surrounded by uncertainties. Suzuki has been delivering superior technology, which has been proven world-wide. We intend to showcase the same in India,â€
The 2008 Hayabusa comes with a ram air equipped 1,340cc inline four engine that develops 190 bhp with the help of high tech features like twin swirl combustion chamber. The sleek aerodynamic design offers high speed stability and S-DMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector) which lets the rider select one of the three different engine settings. The bike also comes with a hydraulic slipper clutch (a standard thing in the litre class bikes) and radially mounted brakes for efficient braking.
A Gixxer turned twice over… The Suzuki M1800R is big. The bike boasts of a massive 1800cc engine and a wider than the widest, 240 section tyre at the rear. The shaft driven Suzuki Intruder M1800 R is also the most powerful cruise Suzuki has ever built if that helps the cause!

The bikes have been launched in 7 cities – Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
The Hayabusa will be available with 4 color options - Solid Black, Metallic Majestic Gold and Pearl Nebular Black, Metallic Phantom Gray
The Intruder M1800R will come in Pearl Nebular Black and Candy Dark Cherry Red

The machine has a muscular four- stroke, four cylinder and liquid-cooled DOHC engine. It has an overhauled oil capacity of 4.0L, fully transistorized ignition and radial mount breaks in the front. The bike sports the new advanced digital fuel injection system with three way selectable engine mapping to suit personal preferences.
The Hayabusa’s instrument cluster features a set of four analog gauges, including step-motor—driven tachometer and speedometer, fuel meter and coolant temperature meter. It comes with wind-cheating, wind-tunnel-developed aerodynamic shape, and the giant weights 220kg.
Hayabusa is likely to be seen in four titillating colours; Solid Black / Metallic Majestic Gold and Pearl Nebular Black / Metallic Phantom Gray.

THE HAYABUSA IS ONLY 10,000$ IN USA INCLUDING TAX AND TITLE, THATS COMING TO AROUND 5 LAKHS, 12.5 LAKHS FOR THAT BIKE IS TOO MUCH AND IS NOT WORTH IT, ON THE ROAD PRICE IN INDIA CAN COME UPTO 14 Lakhs, THE IMPORT DUTY OF INDIAN GOV, MUST BE RELAXED OR SUZUKI SHOULD MAKE AND ASSEMBLE THE BUSA IN INDIA TO GET IT GOING.
& where r the roads to see a 300k+ speedo
