Looks okay. Nothing to shout about. I personally do not like the instrument binnacle to be in the centre of the dashboard. But then, that is just one point of view. Sure there are loads of people who will like that bit.
The quality still doesn’t look good, just look at the steering wheel.
The quality aspect is difficult to tell just by looking at the pictures.
This should be a serious attempt at addressing quality problems rather then the visual ones. Quality is one thing that Tata can simply not ignore now as they are not the only ones with that ‘DIESEL THING’.
Well Sadsack has said it best with his comment!!!!!!
Hopefully the platform will spawn multiple variants in time. Hey, I already have the names planned out for them:
Pickup: Tata Indica Vista Business.
Sedan: Tata Indica Vista home premium
Hot hatch: Tata Indica Vista Ultimate.
No?
@Synn… There arent many people out there with the wit and humour that you have. I was a regular on your blog.
Thanks, mate… Sadly, Work commitments have put the blog in deep freeze.
I will be penning my thoughts elsewhere soon ’nuff though.
looking cool and powerful than existing models, dashboard is changed completely nice looks, now indica is no more driver car
window control at doors is giving good look.
but front look are still not elegant as indica dicor or other high end indicas also other safty feature are not present like ABS.
Watchout ! non-Tata belivers, will compete, Hyundai’s i10 , getz, Suzuki’s zen:estilo, wagon-r,swift, splash[coming] Chevrolet’s aveo[u-va], fiat’s palio, punto[coming],Ford’s new small-car[coming],Volkeswagon’s polo[coming]Honda’s jazz[coming]may even Fabia and also Tata’s own v2,indigo CS . Offcourse there is going to be a lots of fun watching them compete with each other and thrive to give the best.
vehicle seems to b good frm every side viz: engines (1.2;1.3;1.4), interiors & exteriors, but frm performance time will tell, as rear suspension lost its control after few km. of running in the old version.
hi..
this is great..!! the launch must around the corner..!!

Thank you for posting the whole brochure and taking pains to scan it for us. This avoids lot of trouble and extra pain we have to undergo . thanks
All the spec looks like Maruti SWIFT………………
Interiors are not good………………….
Outside looks like Indica Cab………………..
position of the odometer etc provided in the center is very poor,It is better to provide under the stering same as indica v2 .This will not accetpt the peoples in India
ok…i m fully attached with tata induca vista…may i know the price please???
Hey foks,….I’m quite sure those of you who have negative coments about the car may not have had a chance to test drive this car…Trust me folks…its a new generation car..much better than the normal Indica’s.. (I own an Indica myself)….The engine and the gear box (which are traditional issue points for Tata Motors - take it from me as the owner of a Tata Car) are FIAT Europe modelled…So no indegenious TATA R&D which in reality translated to more comfort…The drive on the petrol version (Saffire) is extremly smooth and the experience is completely different unlike any small car in its segment…..The LEG space..front and back is mind blowing….I have already booked my Vista…as opposed to my original idea of buying a Hyundai Accent…I believe this new generation car is worth every rupee…..Ex-showroom for Vista AURA (Petrol) is approx 4 Lacs…on an average and on road (depending on the state) translates to 4.6 or 4.7 lacs….But bear in mind, this price includes car speakers, system, central locking, power windows (all of them)…Only additional fitment required may be rear speakers + alloy wheels…which are ofcourse optional…
So in my opinion…Go for it guys…It’s worth it for the simple reason that…only the assembling is TATA…everything else is world class FIAT
If vista diesel will come soon
Well Good there is a change, But the interior are the same not so much attractive, TATA should think about the competitors, Launching A change after 10 years we not excepted this minor change,
please let me know the price and average of the new tata indica vista ,please mail me all i want
huda
The name may differ, but does the quality?????????? I always believed in the competitive market no company could afford to make low quality cars but thanks to TATA they proved me wrong after I bought the Indica, the problems start from early months of its purchase and they continue…… let us see if they could really break the barrier, time will tell…..
WELL….
I THINK ALL THE DESIRE WITH TATA GIVES COMFORT WITH NEW GEN LOOK……WELL TATA CAMES LATE BUT….VERY NEAR TO FUTURE CAR…….KEEP IT UP……..
WELL DONE MR RATAN TATA………..COUNTRY PROUDE ON YOUR FOR REAL INDIAN…..AND STRONG PERSONALITY….LIKE…….TATA STEEL……..
YOUR WELL WISHER
RAKESH
looks good……….quite pricey better if not launched under indica name
not quite competetive against swift
Bharath
I am planning to book Saffire Aura…did you find pickup ok. It is actually 3 seconds slower than Quadra to 100kph mark.
Anyone else with comments on Saffire?
When can I buy in Thailand ? the new tata indica vista.
I like the red one.
Wait for your information sending.
Good Job Tata, the important thing one must remember is that TATA is moving ahead with each passing generation, the new Vista isnt comparable to say an Alto or a Skoda, but the next generation might well be in terms of finesse and quality. For Indian roads, I would def buy a Vista.

I want to know that what is the price of this car
Hello,
Need to know the price of this car and discount Tata employees are eligible for on cash payment and on credit card payment.
thanks,
Radhika
i liked the car specially its interiors…expcept for the steering wheel which does not hav the upmarket look….
Not even fog lamp and rear fog defrozer which are there in previous versions !!!!
Are they going to disappoint us?
Not even air bags or parking sensors, so there is nothing called improvement other than using some one elses engine. Ohh.. I am a fan and user of V2 DLG.
I test drived the Vista Diesel , overall handling & pickup looked good . As maintenance is concerned i have heared most of the TATA cars have suspension problems . They tend to wear out very quickly. Not sure how far is that true . Have anyone come across suspension issues with Indica of any other TATA cars ?
Thanks
Prabs
please revert back with complete detail of indica vista & indigo CS WITH PRICE LIST
