Tata Motors will deliver its Nano to its first customer today. Tata Motors Chairman, Mr. Ratan Tata is expected to handover the keys of the first Nano to its lucky customer.

Tata Motors had recently announced the completion of the allotment of the first 1 lakh customers of the Nano. The auto major has begun dispatching the vehicles to the dealers across the country after sending the allotment letters to the respective customers.

Tata Nano is currently being manufactured at Tata’s Pantnagar facility in the interim which has a capacity of producing 50,000 units a year. The capacity will be increased to 2,50,000 units once the new plant at Sanand in Gujrat is operational by December this year.
