TATA NANO - WORLD’s CHEAPEST CAR UNVEILED @ AUTO EXPO 2008
Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata on Thursday unveiled the Tata Nano at the 9th Auto Expo in New Delhi.

Specifications:
- The car is powered by a 624cc, 30 bhp engine.
- The car will deliever about 20 kpl mileage in city and 26 kmpl on highway..
- The car is 8% smaller in terms of length than the Maruti 800, but has 21% more room internally.
- The car will come with air conditioning, but will have no power steering.
- The car will have front disk and rear drum brakes.
Tata’s Nano will be available at Rs 1 lakh to the dealers only, which is excluding VAT. It will be available in several variants. There will be two deluxe variants with AC and power steering. Nano will be manufactured at Singur plant.

it’s here to rock the world . mine’s favourite.but one thing i wont agree that you are showing it on auto expo and then saying that it will be launched after september. thats not good.try to launch early,please. we want to buy it .even i have inquired about in at lmp motors,baroda.it’s really a sexy car!
