The latest City is very attractive. I have realized that the styling elements are carried over from the outgoing car but have been wonderfully chiselled to eliminate some of the awkwardness that was there in the previous design. The new City looks good and fresh as does the Accord. But I think the Civic was more pathbreaking at the time of its introduction and its design cues even today are very striking.

Yes the Civic looks awesome no denying that and there is no doubt that the Civic still is the most desirable car in our country but the New City is very very good. It looks the part and should drive well being a Honda.

the features & overall package is something to talk about. probably (or should we say logically?), Honda is going to continue the previous city by removing the vtec variant & will place this model with ivtec to demarcate. the newer model, as sadsack rightly mentioned, has improved edges and the awkward proportions are shaved off. however, there is all likely hood that this model will eat into the pie of the present city.

without a doubt civic’s design is exciting & contemporary. but soon, with too much of familiarity, civic will soon loose it’s sheen. as far design comaparison is concerned, city & civic has huge price gap & that needs to be justified. it is universally accepted that with every qualitative input the price increases exponentially. that is what differentiates the premium class from the ordinary.
