Amid speculations of over Rs 20 Lakh price tag, Toyota has launched the Fortuner at very competitive Rs 18.45 Lakhs Ex-Showroom, Delhi.

The Fortuner comes with a 3.0 Litre D4-D diesel engine which develops 171 PS @ just 3600 rpm and more importantly, maximum torque of 343 nm from barely idle 1400 rpm to all the way upto 3400 rpm! Keeping in mind the low for an SUV kerb weight of 1955 kgs, you have all the makings of an SUV GT!

To take on the rough stuff, Fortuner also comes with full time all wheel drive with low ratio gerbox and centrally lockable differential, 221 mm of ground clearence and 17 inch aluminium alloy wheels.

Toyota hasnt skimped on the safety, comfort and convenience features either with ABS and dual front Air Bags, Back Sonar and engine immobilizer.

Interiors features include dual zone airconditioning, recline on all the seats, 6 CD/MP3 changer, MID (Multi Information Display) and steering wheel mounted controls.
