TVS Motors’ senior vice-president HS Goindi said, “We are not disclosing anything right now. We are working on a few options, which cannot be made public. All that I can say is on the legal front, we are filing another appeal with the Madras High Court.”

TVS Motors total sales in April-January period came down to 4,17,837 units from 7,14,347 units last year and its market share in the motorcycles segment has also gone down to 8.6% from around 13% an year ago.

Hi Nitin,

TVS havent given up still, they will take the case to Madras high court, so we could still have a final twist here.
Bajaj’s patent is not for using 2 spark plugs in an engine but using 2 spark plugs in smaller capacity engine. Before Bajaj came up with this technology in its 150cc pulsar, no one else had thought or tried of using this in a smaller capacity engine and this is why Bajaj holds the patent for it.
