TVS Motor company has launched two new products today one of which is India’s first clutchless bike Jive and another is the automatic scooter Wego.

The sharply styled Wego comes with an all aluminium low friction 110 cc  4 stroke engine which delivers a healthy 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm. The company has worked hard to ensure smooth and noise free engine by making use of advanced  simulation models, computational thermodynamics and frequency responses.

The Wego also offers 12 inch alloy wheels, telescopic front suspension for class leading ride and handling, multi-reflector halogen lamp and LED tail lamps with optical guides to give a dynamic look to the scooter which is designed to be a stylish urban commute.

Comfort and convenience features include external fuel fill with hinge cap, an integrated glovebox, twin city lamps, maintenance free battery, gas filled rear shock absorber and under seat storage with space for a full face helmet and a mobile charger and patented EZ central stand.

TVS Wego will be available in 4 colors - Cappuccino Brown, Golden Beige, Silver, Black and Dark Blue and has been priced at Rs 42,500 Ex-Showroom Chennai.

The Wego is aimed squarely at the all conquering Honda Activa and aims to topple the numero uno scoot with its combination of features and competitive pricing.
