Japanese wheel maker, Weds Sports has created a one of a kind full carbon fiber wheel that weighs a feather light 6.1 pounds (2.76 Kgs). They are about half the weight of the Dymag carbon fiber wheel with magnesium rim and hub, put on a callway corvette and a pound heavier than Dymang’s race spec front wheel for motorcycles.

The company’s literature mentions a dry carbon fiber process that can be used to manufacture automobile and motorcycle tires. Durability and strength is upto anyone’s imagination because its doesnt say anything about it.

Expected price is around $10,000 to $12,000 for a set of four but for that the company has to put them in production which isnt the case as of now.
